My First Blog (and Post)

So I've been getting a TON of inspiration from blogs I read lately. So I decided to start my own (it's also probably the only way I'll stick to what I want).

Trevor and I are getting married January 2, 2014. Since I don't want to buy a circus tent for a wedding dress I have committed myself to losing at least 30 lbs by the wedding (my total goal is 40, but let's be honest, I know myself I'll be lucky to hit the 30).

I have also committed to not stepping foot into a dress store (online shopping only boo hoo) until I have gotten down to 145. 10lbs to go but it feels like forever.


Pardon the Fiance' he doesn't smile much (hehe) and this was taken back in December (at our wedding venue GORGEOUS) so I'm not quite as chunky as I was back then :0 yay me!



Rodeo Houston two weeks ago. See not as chunky!


So that's why I'm writing this. I DO know myself. I KNOW that with out someone (or my internet friends) holding me accountable this is going to be one long hard journey. But it's a journey that is long over due and NEEDS...let me repeat that NEEEEEEEDS to happen!

I'm hefty, it makes me tired, it makes my joints hurt, and it makes me feel like a 22 year old trapped in a hefty 80 yr olds body!

So here's the plan:
(BTW I've already lost 5 lbs, but it's taken FOREVA!)

Today (03/20/2013) I will START Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred (AGAIN for like the 9 millionth time (except not really, it's only the 3rd time..details).
I'm basically addicted to her videos. And by addicted I mean keep buying more before I've even taken the plastic off of all the ones from my first order. I'm pretty sure her No More Trouble Zones DVD was the only thing that finally got rid (almost) of my back fat (sorry about the over share, gotta let it all hang out). SO anywho, 30DS for 30 days (DUH!). I'm super pumped cause I freakin love the burn and I want some inches to come off!

So do 30DS and I will alternate weeks with NMTZ, Kickboxing, and Killer Buns and Thighs (from here on out referred to as KBaT).
Days 1-10: 30DS every day, every other day NMTZ.
Days 11-20: 30DS every day, every other day Kickboxing (Jillian Michael's of course).
Days 21-30: 30 DS every day , KBaT every other day. 
Ya it's gonna be a BEAST but my butt needs to do it!

I weighed and took measurements and all that jazz on Saturday and since I'm at work right now I'll post all that and the ever loathed "before" picture tomorrow.

  1. You can do it! You've got a plan, and the tools at your disposal. All you have to do is stick to it and it'll be gone in no time!

  2. Proud of you, ChelsiBelle! Don't say anything to yourself (or to others about yourself!) that can make you feel defeated! You listen to YOU better than anyone, so be careful what you tell yourself! Yes, it will challenge you, but you've never backed down from a good challenge! (P.S., I will empty 'the c@#%& bowl' before you get home ;-) ! (I like the font!) LuvU SOOO much!
